Sumerian Records is a US independent label located and based out of Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA. It was founded in 2006 by Ash Avildsen and is managed by Shawn Keith. The label's main genre of focus is progressive death metal but also includes hardcore and punk sub-genres. Though the label is a newcomer, it has built an impressive catalog of over twenty albums to date. The label currently has seventeen artists signed to its name.
