Veil of Maya

Veil of Maya was signed to Sumerian Records in 2008. The band was formed in 2004 in Barrington, Illinois. The band mixes elements of progressive, melodic, and hardcore to their death metal. They have released three full length albums. Their debut album in 2006 was released by their former label Corrosive Recordings and self-produced by the band. Veil of Maya's work ethic, dedication, musicianship, and song writing ability has earned them a spot as one of the leading metal bands to date.

The Faceless was the very first band signed to Sumerian Records in 2006. The band was formed in 2004 in Encino, California. Their bone crushing technicality and musicianship has earned them the reputation of being aliens from another world sent to crush their earth enemies with sonic destruction. The band has released two albums and have proved their musical force as one of the leading technical death metal bands today.

Born of Osiris

Born of Osiris was the second band signed to Sumerian Records in 2007. The band was formed in 2003 in Palatine, Illinois. The band has undergone several name changes including Your Heart Engraved, Diminished, and Rosecrance before finally settling on Born of Osiris, based on the Egyptian deity Osiris and the tale of his son Horus. The band has released two albums and have become one of the leading progressive metal bands on the scene today.
